K- You is an education system designed by psychologists, pedagogues and designers specialized in different areas, though a software that connect teachers, schools, parents, and children that offers a platform in which they could find topics related to sexual education aimed for kids at elementary school.

The solution
A digital platform where kids can learn sexuality topics through games, teachers can use this platform as a topics calendar and parents can track the progress of their children.
The result: Sexuality education as part of the human growth without taboos.
The users
Students
Andy is 8 years old, she is in the first class of elementary school. As the other kids of her age, she is curious about babies birth. She is wondering why her little brother Carlitos is different from her and why he plays with action figures while she does it with Barbie dolls.
As part of her classes, she is playing with K-YOU app, provided by her school. With K-You she is understanding the differences between she and the rest of the kids. Through games and videos, she is learning the parts of the body, family structure and identifying dangerous situations to avoid abuses.
Parents
Elizabeth is the mom o Andy. During the second year of Andy’s school, Elizabeth was provided with K-You app, it was mandatory to download it. Through K-You for parents, Elizabeth is able to get sexuality tips related to the topics Andy is reviewing at class.
Sometimes Elizabeth doesn’t know how to talk certain topics to her daughter, but with K-You she gets smooth information about these topics. Elizabeth is also able to track her daughter’s progress.
Teachers
Mary is an elementary school teacher. As part of the temary for the second class students, she has to fulfill four hours to play K-You. K-You’s activities are divided by four modules per year. Every module was created and studied by a pedagog and psychologist and developed by a design team.
Schools and teachers can trust that K-You is a well studied and planned platform and the information is 100% validated.

Tangible material
Due to the expensive costs of the digital system development, we came up with tangible learning material so K – You approaches as much schools in Mexico as we can. The products are basically inspired in the same games as the digital app.
Instead of the app, we created a school furniture in a shape of a cube. K-You pop up box contains all the material (games, scenarios and activities) so kids can play with it during class.

K- You is a tool design to be used during the first 3 years of elementary school. Every year the content will be changing according to the students understanding.
