CONCEPT STORYTELLING

Two colossus female skeletons welcome all in the land of Michoacán. Together with the Patzcuaro Lake  Fishermen, the visitors will be driven to the heart of the exhibition; but before, a Purepecha couple breaks the path to delight the visitors with their traditional dresses.

Continuing the Patzcuaro Lake path, the visitors will finally arrive to the altar, the climax of this narrative. The main altar is a kiosk which shape represents a dancer skirt in motion. All the elements in the altar are the traditional Day of the Dead food, sugar skulls, pan de muerto, candles, etc.

To end and highlight the beauty of the exhibition, the visitors will be delight with the characters skulls around the altar. These characters represents the common people that can be founded at any Pueblo in Mexico.

All the pieces of this exhibition are meant to be made in Cartonería. It is a traditional technique which is used in most of the day of the dead skull figures.

The asymmetry path offers a free narrative for the spectators. Madero Street and Av. 20 Nov are two main pedestrian streets.
